I’ve got some great ideas for Father’s Day photos, and I am taking time to get all the pieces in order this week. I have been prop and background shopping lately, so you’ll have the option to get a look that you’ve never had an opportunity to experience with me! As I gather my things, I will post example photos so you can see what I’m talking about. I’m getting excited – are you?
Okay, so Mother’s Day is over. I had a wonderful day, and I trust that all you moms had a great day too. But that means now it’s time to turn our attention to all of those wonderful Dads out there!
Photos of family are so special. It’s hard to put into words what they can do for a person’s soul. Our children are so important for so many reasons, and a portrait of them can stir up a whirlwind of emotions for proud parents. My son gave me a picture of himself in a frame which he enthusiastically decorated for Mother’s Day. It’s something that I know I will hold dear forever. What better gift could there be?
So in honor of Dad’s Day, I am hosting a Father’s Day Photo event! This will be an opportunity for you to come get a great deal on high-end, fun and personal portraits. Special packages will be available only for this event, or you can order a la carte as always!

It was so much fun at the beach, we went back for more! Keep checking back – there was so much interest, there might just be one last call…
We headed to the beach just before sunset yesterday to take advantage of the sunshine and pleasant temperatures in Seattle. Gorgeous! I love it when nature provides the good stuff. Isn’t photography fun?
These photos were taken as part of my Beach Photo FUNdraiser for Room Nine Community School. We opened up two more spots for next weekend, so let me know if you’d like to participate.

Join me in Chicago Feb. 18th-20th to celebrate Jump Rhythm Jazz Project’s 20th anniversary! The show will revive several pieces from the last two decades, as well as unveil some new work from this awesome company! My job: capture the event in photographs! I look forward to the challenge!
Winter Whimsy was a blast! We had delicious food, mimosas, music, and wonderful company. I really enjoyed working with everyone! I thought it only appropriate to share some photos from the event… maybe you can join us next time!
