I headed over to Wayward Cafe in the U district last week and got to spend some time photographing their yummy food. It’s a cool little vegan breakfast/lunch cafe, tucked away on the corner of 55th and 9th. The food is awesome, no matter what you’re accustomed to eating. You should check it out!

I am preparing for my annual entry into the SPPA annual competition. There are monthly competitions with each meeting, which are great fun, and low-key. But each year in February there is a formal competition with certified PPA judges, a nice banquet hall, yummy food, and a chance to view and study some fabulous work from local professional photographers. In addition, this year we’ll be having some work from area high school students on display! I can’t wait! Here is one image I’ve chosen to submit.
