Perfect Day, Awesome Family – Seattle Family Photographer

These were taken on a gorgeous day just two short weeks ago. We got so lucky with just the perfect amount of cloud cover. The air was a tad bit chilly, but for October, it was pretty awesome. Perhaps you recognize the baby – the new addition I got to photograph over the summer when he was 10 days old. He’s not such a tiny bundle anymore, but he’s still darn cute! And so is his big sister, of course. I’ve been looking forward to photographing this family for a long time, and I’m thrilled that it went so well.

I just finished working on this collage for my brother’s family. I love this collection so much because it really shows what it means to have fun! These images are so full of love and life, it makes me want to go back to Iowa City NOW so I can hang out with these guys again! These girls are so fun! We had the best time making little “flip books” with my quick release shutter – they would act out little scenes and then watch them on the back of my camera.

Wall Portrait – Action Shot!

This one of my boy is headed for the wall in his room. He’s a wild child, active and moving during most of his waking hours. He likes to go big, and he enjoys making people laugh. This action shot really captures his free spirit, and he’s wearing his favorite color, so what better choice for wall decor? Seeing that it’s going over his bed on a large open wall, I’m thinking 24×36 or so. Time to get out the tape measure!
